APOLODORO — Capital

Population: Approximately 8.5 million (2026). Metropolitan area: ~19.3 million.

District distribution:

Apolodoro is the heart of Eris. It has two faces. One smiles: wide avenues, neoclassical buildings, silent trams. The other wears a collar: alleys with iron rings bolted to walls, signs that say "NO DEMIHUMANS," back doors where only the owned enter. The fighting pits don't exist, the law says — but money whispers and judges look at the floor. The police take bribes. The rich place bets on blood.

Key locations: Community health clinic (subsidized by Keller Foundation, includes The Extractor's basement), Blanch & Keller Supermarket, Keller & Jax Clothing Store, Keller's Bank, fighting pits (The Pit, The Cauldron, The Circle), demihuman auction house (legal), breeding farms (legal), and The Quarry — a street food area with no Keller influence, where money talks and anyone can eat.

FOBOS — The Industrial Hub

Population: 800,000

Location: Between Apolodoro and Sedna. The last major city before the northern wilderness. Six hours from Apolodoro by train.

Climate: Cold temperate. Harsh winters. Snow covers the ground from November to March. Fog is common in autumn.

Economy: Manufacturing, logistics, transportation hub. Warehouses, train yards, truck depots. The main source of industrial employment for humans in Eris.

Architecture: Functional and gray. Concrete industrial buildings. Wide avenues for trucks and trains. Residential blocks for workers. Few green spaces.

Demographics: Predominantly human. The high demand for industrial work draws humans from all over Eris. Demihumans are property here, like the rest of the country, and work in factories under corporate ownership.

Reputation: A working-class city. Not wealthy. Not glamorous. Its residents are hard, practical, and unfriendly to outsiders. Those who can leave for Apolodoro do so. Those who stay, work.
